Ella Chancellor graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in public relations and a concentration in marketing. She has previously worked as the public relations intern for TRINDGROUP. She currently serves as the Agency Director for Spirit PR. In her free time, Ella can be found eating brunch at the Hound and trying out new workout classes. 

Blake Waddell graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in public relations and a minor in political science. She has previously served as the Communications Intern for the Auburn University School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences. She currently serves as the Research Manager for Spirit PR. In her free time, she loves shopping downtown at Auburn Oil Co. Bookstore and Therapy Boutique.

Mary Alice Hughes graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in public relations and a minor in creative writing. She has previously worked on strategic communication campaigns for the Auburn University Honors College and participated in campaign research for Auburn-Opelika Tourism. Today, she serves as the Account Coordinator and Copywriter for Spirit PR. In her free time, you can find her eating dinner at Zazu Gastropub or running the trails at Chewacla with her dog, Joey.

Kacie Hines graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in public relations and concentrations in psychology and marketing. She has previously worked on the marketing team for AU Dance Marathon. She currently serves as the Creative Director for the company, keeping the brand in line with the vision. In her free time, she loves playing with her beagle mix, Winnie, and checking off bucket list items. 

Measuring Results

Results are tracked through looking at engagement metrics during and after the campaign to see if they have increased. 

 

OUR STORY

We are all graduates of Auburn’s public relations department who have a passion for enhancing the businesses and organizations in our community. We created the agency in keeping with the spirit of the Auburn Creed: namely,  “Work. Hard work.” and “A spirit that is not afraid.”

Our vision is to tell our community’s story, one business at a time. 

Our mission is to help businesses in our community build their brands and become household Auburn names. We do this by:

  • Helping our clients develop brand awareness in the community through public relations and communications efforts. 

  • Helping our clients build long-term beneficial relationships with strategic industry partners. 

  • Helping our clients tell their stories, whatever that means to them.

AUBURN OPELIKA TOURISM

Auburn-Opelika Tourism is a nonprofit organization serving to positively impact the local economy and enhance the quality of life in the community through tourism and travel. The organization works with businesses and organizations to connect tourists and visitors with the best places to stay, explore, play and eat. 

Auburn-Opelika Tourism wants to increase brand awareness among front-line employees in the Auburn Opelika area, so these employees can direct tourists to Auburn Opelika tourism when they are looking for things to do in town. 

OUR SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY

Targeted Content

We will create posts that specifically target the front-line employees of Auburn-Opelika Tourism's industry partners. This will include doing research regarding user generated content for that demographic and applying what we learn in order to better reach these individuals.

Increased Engagement

Our campaign aims to increase engagement across all social media platforms, both among the frontline staff we are targeting and their customers. Our ultimate goal is for employees to answer the question "What is there to do here?" with one simple statement: "Check out Auburn-Opelika Tourism." 

Measuring Success

We will measure the success of our campaign through social media metrics such as number of followers, engagement with posts (likes, comments and shares) and a brief post-campaign survey that asks new followers to explain how they learned about Auburn-Opelika Tourism.
